I admit, I never really watched this 2016 Korean drama series, except for the times when I would leave the TV on while doing something else. But I always thought something looked familiar.
Back in Incheon after a long bus ride from Busan, we caught ourselves in the middle of a busy sidewalk, with thousands of university studs racing their way into the open grounds of Inha University.
I was watching the trailer of the film Black Panther when suddenly, “hey, that looks familiar!”
My third trip to Korea wasn’t just seeing new places, but also revisiting old ones which we didn’t explore as much on the first time (like Songdo on my previous post). One of those is Seoraksan National Park.
Unrecognizable. But in a good way.
Remember I told you we had to get up real early to make it to our call-time, and performed under the noon sun for 40 minutes? Well, this is it.
Third time’s a charm? I only say so because I failed to achieve my goal of taking higher quality photos on my first 2 visits to Korea. Now I guess I finally got it right on the 3rd time!
It seems just like last year when we first stepped foot in Korea . Yet here we are now, we’ve just gotten back from our third music ministry tour in the land which we can now somehow call home.
Cue in: “Cold Water” by Justin Bieber.
In this age, travelers already have so many options to help plan dream vacations and trips. We have all these third-party travel booking websites at our disposal such as, Booking, Agoda, and the like, and they really make our lives easier. But when they fail us? Well, thank God for Airbnb!
The world’s most livable city? I can definitely say so. The culture, all that art and the quirkiness. And have I mentioned the alleys? I have this crazy thing for alleys, and I guess I’ve had enough of them to last me till next year! O Melbourne, you enchant me!
Who doesn’t know Hillsong?
Lunch at 4pm at the Australian capital? Easy! That’s what you get from days of exhausting activities. We planned to leave at 8am, but we woke up very late so we were only able to depart at past 9am.
On our second day in Sydney, we planned on going to Bondi Beach. But coordinating with friends didn’t work out, so we ended up taking the train up to Katoomba instead, where the Blue Mountains and the Three Sisters, Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo are (Aboriginal legend).
Australia has never been in our travel plans, personally, and as a family. Not that we have anything against it, it’s just that Australia never really crossed our minds.
