What is one important city in Taiwan that you’ve never heard of before?
Right. Taichung.

The Big 3!
It was a Sunday, so first: Church!
On the third day, we ate, we biked, and we conquered got lost!
My personal rule of thumb when traveling: ALWAYS GO FOR THE ICONS FIRST.
“I want Taiwan!”
That’s exactly what I said when major things I had planned this year, all suddenly took a different turn.
Back in Incheon after a long bus ride from Busan, we caught ourselves in the middle of a busy sidewalk, with thousands of university studs racing their way into the open grounds of Inha University.
I was watching the trailer of the film Black Panther when suddenly, “hey, that looks familiar!”
So after hours of trekking at Seoraksan National Park, and that rather strange dinner we had (click here for the story), it was such a treat to retire to this lovely beach-side resort–Kensington in Sokcho-si.
Third time’s a charm? I only say so because I failed to achieve my goal of taking higher quality photos on my first 2 visits to Korea. Now I guess I finally got it right on the 3rd time!
For years, people have been traveling the distance to the Cebu South – to Oslob for the breathtaking Tumalog Falls, or perhaps to Badian for the more popular Kawasan Falls. But farther, there’s this unexploited treasure of a spot in the neighboring southern town of Samboan – the Aguinid Falls.
Cue in: “Cold Water” by Justin Bieber.
Nope, this is not some click-bait. We really did meet some kangaroos on the way to the mental!
I had just gotten off Facebook after watching global music royalty, Carrie Underwood’s skydiving video in Sydney. I said to myself with much conviction, “I am definitely doing that!”
In this age, travelers already have so many options to help plan dream vacations and trips. We have all these third-party travel booking websites at our disposal such as, Booking, Agoda, and the like, and they really make our lives easier. But when they fail us? Well, thank God for Airbnb!
The world’s most livable city? I can definitely say so. The culture, all that art and the quirkiness. And have I mentioned the alleys? I have this crazy thing for alleys, and I guess I’ve had enough of them to last me till next year! O Melbourne, you enchant me!
Who doesn’t know Hillsong?
Lunch at 4pm at the Australian capital? Easy! That’s what you get from days of exhausting activities. We planned to leave at 8am, but we woke up very late so we were only able to depart at past 9am.
On our second day in Sydney, we planned on going to Bondi Beach. But coordinating with friends didn’t work out, so we ended up taking the train up to Katoomba instead, where the Blue Mountains and the Three Sisters, Meehni, Wimlah, and Gunnedoo are (Aboriginal legend).
When one thinks of Australia, I’m sure these two are the very first things that will cross your mind. They’re icons, not just of Sydney, but of Australia as a country, which also is a whole continent in itself. Ladies and gents, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
