-This monument and our flag stands, among many other UN countries who fought alongside each other during the Korean War, at The War Memorial of Korea.

Despite weather difficulties, the Philippines was the very first Asian country to send troops to help fight North Korean forces on September 19, 1950. This makes me even more proud to be Filipino!

-The first bulletproof vehicle in Korea, gifted by US President Dwight Eisenhower to South Korea’s first President, Rhee Syngman in 1956. Around 200 million Won was spent to restore this Cadillac to roadworthy condition.

-This limousine was a gift from USSR to North Korea’s Kim Il Sung before the war. The vehicle was captured by The South Korean army in 1950. Many years passed, it was found in the possession of a car collector in New Jersey, USA. In 2013, it finally made its way back home in Korea.
