Another kind of food I tried in Korea was the Soondae.
Sounds cool, but kinda terrifying when you’ll know what it is. Blood sausages. I was terrified! I wish I wasn’t being cockily adventurous and went with the Donkkaseu (Tonkatsu) instead. But actually, inside the sausages were just glass noodles. Anyway, it was served on a sizzling hot bowl. The actual soup (before condiments) is actually very bland. Then you put some kinds of condiments in it, lots and lots of spring onions, chili paste, and I don’t know what that other thing was. They looked like very tiny seeds. The soup though, needs a considerable amount of salt more, as Filipinos who are quite accustomed to salty food would find it very bland. But believe me, it was actually good.
